Posterior ankle impingement is a well known diagnosis in the adult literature however there is not much focus or literature on this topic in the pediatric population. As mentioned in the 'Evidence for Practice Gap', the faculty members for this webinar have presented at multiple meetings regarding the delay in diagnosis and features causing delay in making the diagnosis in this population. They are also the authors of the first and largest prospective study on posterior ankle impingement in the pediatric population.
