This webinar will introduce the audience to the terminology used for proper interaction with LGBTQ patients, trainees, and colleagues. We will review the literature on access of LGBTQ patients to healthcare. We will highlight what is an inclusive environment and review the effect of cultural competency on the outcomes of this group. Participants will leave with the ability to promote and maintain an open and inclusive environment and provide the best care for their LGBTQ patients.
